After a very cold winter (temps in at least the 60’s), it
looks very promising that we may be entering springtime! I
love this time of year. I love to see new life on the trees
and the flowers. It’s easier to get up in the morning, too,
especially when the sun is already shining. There is a
sense of ‘freshness’ about everything. This ‘reviving’
seems to have spilled over into the entire family! They all
are anxious to spend more time outside and take long walks
(that always include ice cream)!
We’ve finished a wonderful week of
Evangelistic Meetings and were amazed once again how the
Lord seemed to be moving amongst our sweet people. Magaly,
saved about a year, was responsible for bringing many adult
visitors. She and I shared names a week before the meetings
and agreed to pray that the ones on her list would attend at
least one night of the revival. By the end of the week all
but one on her list had not only attended but also accepted
Christ. You could hardly keep her feet on the ground
because she was so excited. What a privilege to have a
small part in their decision…simply because I joined in
prayer.
I have a project I’d like to throw out
to you and see how the Lord could use each of you in a
special way. We desperately need more teaching materials
that are geared toward children. We have found a great
Spanish resource in CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship). Many
of their English series as well as missionary stories (which
are complete with large, colorful cards), are also available
in Spanish. These are the materials we use in open air
meetings especially because they are large and easy to be
seen. They are quality materials which have proven to last
a long time. The few stories we do have have been taught at
least 4 different times! If several Sunday school classes,
Children’s Clubs, Families or Missionary Prayer Bands would
sponsor the purchase of a few stories, we could build a
resource library that could be shared with at least 3
churches. Would you consider being a part of this project?

already have so we don’t duplicate. You, too, can have a
part in the many spiritual blessings taking place in our
ministry just by supplying materials!
